Tammy Carol Mccoy

Tammy Carol McCoy, 56 of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

She was born in Elkton, MD, on April 10, 1968.

Tammy had a lifelong love of horses and she owned and operated an equestrian center.

Tammy loved to travel with her family, especially her beloved husband and did so as often as possible.  Tammy was a very involved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all, especially those she held closest.

She is survived by her husband: Steve Ellis; two sons: Jimmy McCoy (Kaitlyn) of Townsend, DE, and Christopher McCoy (Gabriella) of Chesapeake City, MD; her mother: Geraldine (Day) McCoy of DE; a sister: Kathy Vancullin of FL; and her grandchildren: Melissa and Remington.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father: Terry Wayne McCoy; her sister: Terri Ann McCoy; and her daughter: Ashley Stratton.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon.

Interment will follow in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
