Tammy Lynn Cooper

Tammy Lynn Cooper, 59 of Elkton, MD went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.

Tammy was born in Elkton, MD on February 3, 1965 and graduated from North East High School.

She worked at MD House of Travel Plaza on I95 and at Pencader University of DE.  She was a fan of the Washington Commanders (Redskins), was a collector of all things Western/ Indians, and she was passionate with all genres of music, especially rock and roll.

Tammy was the daughter of Douglas Cooper and stepmother, Jo-Ann.  She is survived by a son: Tyler Cooper (Bonnie); 2 grandchildren: Taylor and Lincoln; and a close, loving and devoted partner: Sharon Altman with whom she resided.  Tammy is also survived by her siblings: Jeffrey Cooper (Meddy) of Axton, VA, Larry Cooper of Elkton, MD, Jody Neyman (Ed) of Charlestown, MD, Belinda Pyle (Keith) of Elkton, MD and Bridget Downes (Daniel) of Hookstown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother: Betty Smith; grandmother: Grace Cooper.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 S. Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
