Susan Belle (Redick) Ramey
She was born in Wilmington, DE, on March 20, 1943.
Susan retired from Union Hospital, Elkton, MD where she worked as a Nurse.
She was a member of Harvest Pentecostal Church and New Life Fellowship. She enjoyed singing and loved the Lord. She also enjoyed art, classic movies and loving and caring for her family.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years: Sefis P. Ramey, Sr.; three sons: Sefis P. 'Pete' Ramey, Jr. of Elkton, MD, Paul P. Ramey, Sr. of North East, MD, Jeffrey P. Ramey of Elkton, MD; mother: Mary L. (Cox) Redick of Newark, DE; 6 siblings: Janie Griffin of Newark, DE, Bobby R. Redick of Elkton, MD, Michael H. Redick of Bear, DE, Linda Wilson of Newark, DE, Debbie Thorson of Wilmington, DE, and Donna Yanson; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Susan was preceded in death by her father: Robert Reed Redick; a son: David P. Ramey; a sister: Dorothy Sheets and a brother: Tommy R. Redick.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
Following interment, friends and family are invited for fellowship at Mercy Missionary Baptist Church, 2403 Theodore Road, North East, MD.
