Mrs. Reeves was a current member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years: James A. Reeves, Sr.; 1 son: Pastor Jim Reeves, Jr. and wife Nancy of Rising Sun, MD; 1 daughter: Tracy L. Norris and husband Gerry of Port Deposit, MD; 6 grandchildren: Katie, Rachel, Ashley and Steven Norris, Lauren Reeves and James Reeves, III, all at home. She is also survived by 1 sister: Laura Ragan of Aberdeen, MD: 3 brothers: Robert Ray of Baltimore, MD, Albert Ray of Lancaster, PA and Russell Ray of Port Deposit, MD; and many nieces and nephews.
Those preceding her in death were her parents, Rufus and Lucy (Elliott) Ray; 1 sister, Lenna Marshall; and 3 brothers: Howard Ray, Pastor Ralph Ray and James Ray.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow services in Union Church Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
Pastor Seth Hawkins will officiate assisted by Mrs. Reeves’ son, Pastor Jim Reeves of State Line Baptist Church.
