Stanley M. Strzala

Stanley M. Strzala, 59 of North East, MD, passed away, surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Ridley Twp., PA, on August 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Stanley and the late Pauline Bissinger Strzala. Mr. Strzala was the beloved husband of Darlene Strzala of North East, MD. He owned and operated Quality Plus Builders and was a member of IBEW Local 654 of Chester, PA. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his children: Fran and Paul Rodgers of North East, MD, Holly Strzala and Joe Cook of Elkton, MD, Paula and Sam Slayman of North East, MD, Pookey Strzala and Jerry Partain of Elkton, MD; two sisters: Polly DiCostanza of Queen Creek, AZ, Betty Greenawalt of Newark, DE; and his grandchildren: Noah Rodgers and Mykenzie Strzala. A memorial service, conducted by Rev. Dennis Gilbert will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, 1168 West Old Philadelphia Road, Charlestown, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM.
