Stanley Lee May
Born in White Sulphur Springs, WV, on April 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Stanley and the late Betty (Sydenstricker) Cleary. He served during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Army.
He was a truck driver, employed by Tipton Trucking. Stanley enjoyed NASCAR, the Ravens, sports, playing horseshoes, tinkering with cars and trucks and was known as a "Grill Master."
Survived by his wife: Janie (Cleary) May of North East, MD; daughter: Janice Lipford of Port Deposit, MD; stepdaughters: Mary Lou Pope of North East, MD and Candy Myura of Newark, DE; five sisters: Anna Morrison, Alice Musick, and Joyce Buckland all of North East, MD, Mary Honaker of Bull Gap, TN and Bertha Andrews of Rising Sun, MD; two brothers: Kenny May of North East, MD and Ernest May of Port Deposit, MD; 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.,127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where there will be a viewing on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
