Stanford P. Barton
Born in VA, on August 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Emerson and the late Virgie (Bostic) Barton.
He retired from Pinkerton where he worked as a truck driver and a security guard.
Survived by: his wife: M. Avolene Barton; and his children: Leroy Barton of Elkton, MD; Lloyd Barton of North East, MD, Sarah Nock and her husband Charles and Tony Barton all of Salisbury, MD; his siblings Junior Barton, Charlie Barton, Gladys Simpers all of North East, MD, Dorothy Brede of Chincoteague, VA ; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow services at North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
