Shirley R. (Roush) Hodgson

Shirley R. Hodgson, 73, of Elkton, MD, passed away March 4, 2022 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in DuBois, PA on October 21, 1948, Shirley was the daughter of the late Henry and Mildred Brosius Roush. She worked for 25 years at General Motors on the assembly line and was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Fair Hill, MD. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed her time at the beach.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband: Joseph D. Hodgson of Elkton; her son: William Daniel Hodgson and his wife Rosalisa; daughter: Joanne McCracken and her husband Mark; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son David Wayne Hodgson who passed away in 2016.

Services and burial will be private.
