Shelby Marlin Hensel, 57 of Elkton, MD, died suddenly Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at home.
A lifelong resident of Elkton, she was born on January 20, 1955, the daughter of the late Floyd Marlin and the late Lydia (Damron) Hollada.
Shelby worked for the Cecil County Board of Education in the Cafeterias at Holly Hall Elementary, Elkton Middle and Elkton High Schools.
She enjoyed crafting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: Allen Hensel, Jr. of Elkton, MD, LeAnn Clough of Elkton, MD, Christy Roten of Aberdeen, MD, Amanda Harrison of Elkton, MD, Salenia Hensel of North East, MD; her siblings: Sissy Shrewsbury, Sharon Robertson, Penny Sanders, Floyd Hollada, Robert Hollada, Karen Sluder; and her grandchildren: J.C., Brittany, Brayden and Landon.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Michael Hollada and a granddaughter: Marissa.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
