Sharon Louise Molitor; 75, of North East Maryland, passed suddenly Monday August 10, 2026.

Born June 4, 1951 daughter of Sherman and Rose Bleau at Bishop DeGeoesbriand Hospital in Burlington Vermont. Adopted at four months by Lee and Louise Knapp while stationed at Yokosuka naval base Japan, later relocating to North East in 1956.

Throughout Sharon‘s life, she was known to capture the attention of all those around her. Graduating from the Tome School, she went on to become a highly active and involved single parent along with working several jobs, including Union Hospital’s ER, Eckerd drugstore, The Cycle Shed, Cecil Rental Center, James Julian Construction, then landing her life’s calling at Chesapeake Care Resource center as a Medical Assistant in 1991. Where she was a very devoted and caring associate for over 45 years, putting her clients needs first.
Sharon had an overwhelming love for animals which over the years equated to a small petting zoo she called Stony Hollow which also landed her in the Cecil Whig in 2010 becoming known by locals as the bird woman, when her pet Emu; Romeo, escaped.

Sharon will be survived by her two sons Kevin Lee Creswell (57) and Matthew Aaron Molitor (52) both of North East, her two proud grandchildren Xian and Shannon. Also brother Sherman Bleau of Burlington, Vermont and her devoted partner Terrell Williamson of North East.
