Sarah Marie Stanley

Sarah Marie Stanley, age 59 of Charlestown, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 4, 2010. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on July 5, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Roger H. and the late Catherine I. Calvert. She is survived by her husband of 37 years: Don E. Stanley, two daughters and their spouses: Amy and Charles Yamchuk, Judy and Jason Cade and one son: Don E. Stanley, II. She had six grandchildren: Kylie, Ryan and Easton Yamchuk, Abigail Cade, Savannah and Don E. Stanley III, with a seventh grandchild, Tyler Cade due on December 26, 2010. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Roger T. Calvert, Robert and spouse Diane Calvert and 1 sister, Judy Calvert and longtime companion, Donald McMillan; sister-in-law: Beverly Calvert, 6 nieces, 3 nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her very special friend, Karen Ross. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary and Charles Calvert. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at St. John's United Methodist Church, 240 Market Street, Charlestown, MD, with Rev. Mary Browne officiating the service.
