Sandra Ellen Laney

Sandra Ellen Laney, 60 of Port Deposit, MD, died suddenly Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Cecil County, MD, on February 8, 1951, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Ellen Harrigan Huss. She was the wife of the late Clinard R. Laney, Sr. who passed in 2007. Sandra worked at Walmart, North East, MD in the Apparel Department. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by 3 sons: Clinard R. Laney, Jr. and John E. Laney both of Port Deposit, MD, Dustin A. Laney of North East, MD; her 2 grandchildren: Dustin A. Laney, Jr. and Octavia Laney both of North East, MD; and her siblings: Ronald, Calvin and William Huss, Edna Rash and Brenda Gonzalez. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, John Huss. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Ralph Miller will be held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow services in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
