Samuel John Noel, Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 11, 1936, he was the son of the late Samuel O. and the late Dorothy (Crane) Noel.
Before his retirement, he worked as a diesel mechanic and truck driver for Schmidt’s Brewery.
Mr. Noel was a member of Fairless Hills Masonic Lodge #776 F & AM, Fairless Hills, PA; and also of the Shriner’s Lulu and Boumi Temples. He enjoyed doing puzzles with his wife, riding his Harley and going to antique car shows with his 1959 Edsel.
He is survived by his loving wife: Ruth E. Noel of Charlestown, MD; 3 children: Samuel J. Noel, Jr. (Mary) of Downingtown, PA, Ruth Noel Haneman (Paul) of Levittown, PA and Sheryl Jean Raab of Danville, PA; his siblings: John O. Noel, David A. Noel, James Noel, Dorothy M. Dugan, Barbara A. Testa and Debra Epp; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Rich Green will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Rosedale Cemetery Chapel, 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
