Salvador H. Panes

Salvador H. Panes, 88 years old of North East, MD, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Sun Bridge Nursing Home, Elkton, MD. Born in Sara, Iloilo, Phillipines, on April 20, 1920, he was the son of the late Esperidion and the late Felicidad Habagat Panes. Mr. Panes was a farmer in the Phillipines. While he lived there, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Councilman in Batad, Ililio, Phillipines. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years: Victoria Panes; his children: Eduardo, Herminia, Evelina, Elvira, Zosimo, Cecilia, Fr. Romeo, Corazon, Nestor, Sharonne, his 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is also survived by a sister Lilia and brother Wildefonso. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Wilfredo. Viewing for family and friends will be Friday, January 16, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A second viewing will be held Saturday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM prior to the mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, 403 Gordon Road, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
