Ruth Ermalee Heath

Ruth Ermalee Heath, 76 of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Washington County, VA, on March 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Earl and the late Maude May Jackson Ray. Mrs. Heath was the wife of the late Dan Heath who died in 1976. She was a member of Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, Charlestown, MD. Survivors include her children: Earl R. Heath and Gary W. Heath both of Elkton, MD, Delores Arnold of Jackson, MS and Jeff A. Heath of Rising Sun, MD; her brother: James Ray of Wilmington, DE; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Preston E. Heath and her sister, Betty Feeney. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM. Rev. Dennis Gilbert will officiate. Interment will be Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1:00 PM in Rush Creek Cemetery, Meadowview, VA.
