Ruth Alberta Anderson

Ruth Alberta Anderson, age 90, of Elkton, Maryland went to be with the Lord Monday, April 5, 2004 at Union Hospital, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Elkton, Maryland on December 8, 1913 to the late Thomas McKinney and Mollie Anna Jones. Mrs. Anderson retired in 1972 as an assembly line machinist for R.M.R., Elkton, Maryland. She was a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene and the Ladies Auxiliary of the North East Fire Company. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her children, Phillip Anderson, Bonifay, Florida, Oleita Kirby and David Husfelt, both of North East, Maryland, Jack Husfelt and Rick Anderson, both of Elkton, Maryland, Charlie Husfelt, Carryville, Florida, Hester Combs, Illinois. Mrs. Anderson had 67 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with three of her grandchildren providing care for her; Bryan Anderson, Charlie Kirby, and Mary Miller. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her 1st husband, The Late, Amos Husfelt, and her 2nd husband, The Late, Carl J. Anderson, who died in 1986, and her children, The Late, Neal Anderson who died in 1999, The Late, Nowland "Bezzy" Anderson, who died in 1999, and The Late, Jimmy Husfelt, who died in 2002. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Elkton Church of the Nazarene, 377 Nottingham Road, Elkton, Maryland. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Church. The Rev. James R. Moyers, Elkton Church of the Nazarene, will officiate.
