Roy Salvatore Marge

Roy Salvatore Marge, "Corky", 67 of Perryville, MD, died suddenly Thursday, May 6, 2010 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Marcus Hook, PA, on January 11, 1943, he was the son of the late Roy A. and the late Clementine Barbone Marge. He was the husband of the late Shirley D. Marge who died on June 2, 2006. Mr. Marge graduated from Salesianum Catholic High School in Wilmington, Delaware. He also served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired bricklayer with Union Local #1 out of Wilmington, Delaware. Mr. Marge was a devoted and generous father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing. A natural born story teller and lover of good company and family, "Corky" enjoyed sharing his home on the water with those who meant the most to him. Survivors include his children: Sam Marge of Bel Air, MD, Catherine C. Langshaw of Perryville, MD, and Shirl A. Culver of Perryville, MD; his brother Edward Marge of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, and 5 grandchildren; Anthony Langshaw, Raymond Langshaw, Griffin Marge, Peyton Marge, and Madison Culver. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother: Donald Marge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 810 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD. Family and Friends are welcome to pay their respects starting at 10:15 AM. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
