Roseanna Lillian (Turnbull) Stevens

Rosanna Lillian Stevens, 85 years young of Perryville, Md. died Feb. 9, 2016 in Greenwood, SC, surrounded by her loving family. The Beloved wife of 51 years of the late Clarence W. Stevens. She was the daughter of late Emma Jane and Phillip Turnbull of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. Devoted mother of Alexander (Ruth ) Stevens, Jane Ann ( Charles) Chadwick, Connie ( Jack) Kalista and Clarence Stevens. She was the proud grandmother of 11 and 16 great grandkids scattered across the United States.

She was predeceased by her daughter Margaret Stevens and grandsons Timothy Kalista and John P. Stevens.

Rose was employed at Hecht Co. as the manager of the shoe department. She loved her job and was respected. She retired and was asked back 3 times.

Rose loved walks with her husband, travel, Disney World, shopping, decorating, big family Christmas parties, eating out, senior center, winning at cards, pets, friends, swimming and spoiling her grandchildren.

Services will be held on February 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Visitation and service at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, Maryland 21901. Interment will be private. Donations may be sent to Perryville Volunteer Fire Dept.
