Rose Ann (Hayes) Price

Rose Ann Price, 68 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in the Seasons Hospice Unit at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Port Deposit, MD, on June 24, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Freel H. and the late Frances V. (McCloud) Hayes.  Mrs. Price was the beloved wife of Robey E. Price.

Prior to her retirement, Rose was a nursing assistant at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD and Citizens Nursing Home, Havre de Grace, MD.

She loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent nurturing her children and grandchildren and watching them grow.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her three children: Robert E. Price, Teresa A. Price both of Perryville, MD, Lura J. Price of Elkton, MD; five sisters: Arline Hayes of Elkton, MD, Bonnie Moore of Port Deposit, MD, Margaret Stanley of Havre de Grace, MD, Nellie Hall of Elkton, MD, Karen Jandon of Havre de Grace, MD; six grandchildren: Joseph Blake, Jarad Price, Brandon Price, Matthew Price, Kevin Warren, Shawn Warren; four great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Fred A. Hayes.

Funeral service, conducted by Dr. Jerry Price will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bay Community Church, 2248 Pulaski Highway, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
