Rose Marie Foley

Rose Marie Foley, 80 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at home. Born in Johnstown, PA, on April 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles and the late Margaret Timothy Rooney. She was the wife of the late Dennis P. Foley who died in 1986. She is survived by her loving children: Margaret Plouffe of CT, Claire Balash of NY, Dennis Foley of NJ and Susan Scoffone of MD with whom she made her home; 3 sisters: Marianne Nalewako of GA, Susan Farmer of MI, Patricia Gartrell of PA; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Foley, a daughter, Marianne Foley and 3 late brothers, John, Charles and Daniel. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:30 AM at Good Shepherd Church, 810 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee will officiate. Interment will be Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to Alzheimer's Association or Seasons Hospice, both in care of the funeral home.
