Ronald Schomo

Ronald Schomo, 73 of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, on September 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Cecelia Siwik Schomo. He was the beloved husband of Margaret McCrory Schomo of Elkton, MD. Mr. Schomo served in the Army. He retired from the State of Maryland, MVA working in Data Processing, Quality Assurance. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, and enjoyed reading, movies and live shows. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed watching football. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include: three daughters: Maureen Eisner of Havre de Grace, MD; Lynn Cooper of Forest Hill, MD; Janet Rothenbach of Littlestown, PA; one son: Ronald J. Schomo of Medford Lakes, NJ; his sister: Elaine Gruss of Minneola, FL; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and also from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. Father Joseph Piekarski will officiate.
