Ronald 'Ron' Keith Ross, of Peach Bottom, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, just days before his 68th birthday.
Born on August 25, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, Ron was the beloved son of the late Kenneth Keith Ross and Mary Jane Pikulik.
Ron was a dedicated Project Manager who spent his career in construction management and was associated with JEM Group, LLC. He took great pride in his work, but even more so in the people he met along the way. He valued the friendships and connections he made throughout his years and left an impression on many who had the privilege of knowing him.
He found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. He had a deep love of music and enjoyed drawing, traveling, riding motorcycles, and, of course, savoring Maryland’s famous crabs. He had a curious and adventurous spirit, always appreciating experiences that allowed him to enjoy life in his own way. He especially enjoyed motocross, spending time at the beach, and visiting the Renaissance Faire, where he could embrace his love of history, imagination, and adventure. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he attended Haven Community Church.
Those who knew Ron will remember him for his distinctive personality, his many interests, his stories, and the countless memories he created along the way. He was someone who could not be easily forgotten. His presence brought something special to the lives of the people around him, and his absence will be deeply felt.
He leaves behind those who loved him and whose lives were made richer simply by having known him. He is survived by his sister, Judy Pailer of Senoia, Georgia; his sister-in-law, Mae Smeltz of Carolina Shores, North Carolina; and his longtime companion, Ruth Ann Altizer of Colora, Maryland, as well as other cherished family members and dear friends.
Though he is no longer with us, Ron's memory will live on in the music he loved, the places he traveled, the roads he rode, the friendships he formed, and, most importantly, in the hearts of those who loved him. The moments shared with him will be treasured, and his memory will remain a lasting part of the lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, at 4:00 p.m. at Haven Community Church, 48 Flint Drive, #3, North East, MD 21901. Family and friends are welcome to call at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., prior to the service.
