Rolland William Emond

Rolland William Emond, of North East, MD, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born on April 18, 1937 in Websterville, Vermont; he was the son of Mr. William Joseph Emond and Dorothy May Santor Emond. He was employed by AT&T as supervisor and served in the U.S Air Force. Rolland loved Fishing, Bowling, Baseball, Baltimore Orioles and Slot machines. Survived by his wife: Marty Marie Emond of North East, MD and his children, Robert Daniel Abbott of Goodlettsville, TN, Keith Wayne Abbott of Elkton, MD, Kevin Michael Abbott of Canbera, Australia and Lisa Michele McCraw of North East, MD. His sister Beverly Ann Bushey, of Gardner, Massachusetts and his brother, Raymond Joseph Emond of Madison Heights, Michigan. His Grandchildren: Timmy, Lynnsay, Michael, Taylor, Kurt, Jason, Zachary, Daniel, Lauren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his two sisters Christina May Gelinas and Betty June Poirier. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Jim Bellin will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 4 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main St, North East, MD where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 10AM to 11AM.
