Rodger Dale Buckland

Rodger Dale Buckland, 52 of Port Deposit, MD, died suddenly Sunday, September 11, 2011. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born in Elkton on July 16, 1959, the son of the late Paul Thomas and the late Emma Jean Willey Buckland. He was a Foreman for Eastern States Construction for over 20 years. Rodger enjoyed hunting and fishing, mowing grass and helping his friends and family. He loved animals, especially his cat, Cry Baby and his dog, Snow. He is survived by his daughter: Heather Marie Buckland of Perryville, MD and his son: Kyle David Buckland of North East, MD; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
