Robert Andrew Lockard, Sr.

Robert "Bobby" Andrew Lockard, Sr., 79 of Elkton, MD passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, at home. 

Born in Elkton, MD, on May 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Lockard, Sr., and the late Emma (McDowell) Lockard.

He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. Robert liked to cut grass, and he liked John Deere tractors. His grandson, Michael, has the first one that he ever purchased.

Survived by five daughters: Charlene Ritzel (Patrick), Diane Hall (Thomas, Sr.), Joycelyn Rivera (Greggory, Sr.) Amy Rust (Brent Hughes) and Susan Hall; one son: Robert Lockard, Jr. (Christine Moran) four sisters: Dorothy "Dot" Lockard, Barbara Veronr, Carolyn Sue McCary Coppola, and Carol Vaccarini; one brother: Charles Lockard, Jr.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
