Robert Joseph Gregor

Robert Joseph Gregor, 78 of Rising Sun, MD, died Friday, May 19, 2017 in his daughter’s home.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on September 14, 1938, he was the son of the Robert F. and Frances E. (Lennon) Gregor. He served in the Navy aboard “The Wasp”.

Bob, a member of the Defiance Club, Wilmington, DE, enjoyed golf, classic movies, old cars, cooking and most of all spending time with his family.

Before his retirement he was a Draftsman, employed by the DuPont Company.

Survived by his wife: Claire (Thompson) Gregor; two daughters: Candice Gregor of North East, MD and Linda Gregor McClure of Wilmington, DE, and one son: Curtis Gregor of Newark, DE; two sisters: Veronica Haas of Salt Lake City UT and Mary Shireman of Wilmington, DE; and his beloved granddaughter: Aerianna Wharton of North East, MD.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his by his half-brother: Bruce Hall.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow the service in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
