Robert T. Cole, Sr.

Robert Thurman Cole, Sr., 67 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at home.

Born in Holden, WV, on February 22, 1950, he was the son of Zelda (Dean) Cole and the late Stonewall Jackson Cole.

He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.

Prior to retirement he worked for Chrysler for 33 years. He was a member of the UAW and American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194, Rising Sun, MD.

Survivors include, his beloved wife: Lauretta (Deputy) Cole; one daughter: Jimmy Gale Cole and two sons: Robert Cole, Jr. and Jeffrey Cole; stepdaughters: Shirley Ashwood, Nancy Thomas, Charlotte Moretz and Jennifer Sexton; two sisters: Mary Lou Dehart and Zelma Boyd; eighteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:00 am at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Rd. Bear, DE.
