Robert Lee Cassell

Robert Lee Cassell, 71 of Elkton, MD, died at home on Friday, February 18, 2011. Born in Elkton, MD, on July 30, 1939, he was the son of the late Lee R. and the late Grace Elizabeth Crouch Cassell. He served in the Navy from 1956 to 1962. He was a mechanic and enjoyed woodworking, target shooting and spending time with his family. Survivors include his three sons: Edward Cassell of Ocala, FL, Ronald Cassell of Elkton, MD, Lance Cassell of North East, MD and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Dreama Sue Higley Cassell, on July 3, 2004; sister, Toni Hedge and brother, Ronald Cassell. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Doug Rennewanz, will be held at Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street North East, MD. Visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM. Interment will follow services at 1:00 PM in Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Ellwood Road Hurlock, MD 21643.
