Robert R. Carter

Robert R. "Bobby" Carter, 62 of Meadowview, VA, formerly of Rising Sun, MD died Monday, November 28, 2011 at home. He was born in MD on October 4, 1949; graduated from Rising Sun High School and received his Certified Auto Mechanic training from Cecil County Vo-Tech. He was a self employed used car dealer. Bobby enjoyed watching NASCAR and going to Gatlinburg. Most of all he loved his children and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include 5 children: Barbara Carter Adams of Fair Hill, MD, Tammy Grove and her husband Brian of North East, MD, Linda Carter Foots and her husband K.I. of Rising Sun, MD, Bobby Carter, Jr., his wife Missy and Jason Carter and his wife Karen all of Glade Spring, VA; his companion, Rose Deaver of Glade Spring, VA; his mother: Dorothy Bryant Hryb of North East, MD; 2 sisters: Sherry Moyer of Rising Sun, MD, Mary Stewart of North East, MD; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Little Carter and his father, Robert L. Carter. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow services in Ebenezer Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
