Robert Warren Bolt

Robert Warren Bolt, 89 of North East, MD, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024.

Born in VA, on February 1, 1935, he was the son of the late Daniel Paul Bolt, Sr. and Modena Kathryn (McCreary) Bolt.

Robert served his country proudly in the U.S. Army.

He was a retired carpenter for Union Local 626.

Robert was a member of the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194 of Rising Sun, MD, and Union Local 626. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, crabbing, and working in his garden.

Survivors include his 5 daughters: Wanda Bonsall (Doug) of Elkton, MD, Dolly Henson (Dave) of Dahlonega, GA, Joan Alban-Rhoades (Danny) of Port Deposit, MD, June Seldomridge of North East, MD and Carlotta Majewski (Mark) of Daytona, FL; 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his wife, Matilda Marie Bolt; great granddaughter: Rachael Ann Moon; and brother: Daniel P. Bolt, Jr.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment with full military honors provided by the American Legion Mason Dixon Post 194 Honor Guard will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial donations made to Cecil County Animal Services, in care of the funeral home.
