Robert Andrew Blevins

Robert Andrew Blevins, 68 of North East, MD, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bluefield, WV, on April 5, 1942, he was the son of the late Robert C. and the late Annie Tessa Blevins. Mr. Blevins was the beloved husband of Euna M. Blevins of North East, MD. He was an Excavator Supervisor for Eastern States Construction. He enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR, drag racing and basketball. He also enjoyed western movies. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his children: Lisa Honaker and her husband Jimmy of North East, MD, Robert A. "Robbie" Blevins, Jr. and his wife Lorie of North East, MD, and Barry A. Mitchell and his wife Debbie of Tazewell, VA; four siblings: Donald Blevins and his wife Doris, Thomas Blevins, Jerry Blevins and his wife Janet all of North East, MD, Mary Jeannette Mitchem and her husband Robert of Newark, DE; a sister-in-law, Maria Blevins of North East, MD; his grandchildren: Ashley L. Honaker, Megan K.M. Honaker, Madison N. Blevins, Lance A. Blevins and 2 additional ;1 great grandson, Keadon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne C. Hicks and a brother, Carl Blevins. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Glenn Bromwell will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow services in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Cross Road Bible Church, in care of the funeral home.
