Robert Carleton Baker, 80 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.
Born in Matawan, NJ, on May 24, 1932, he was the son of the late John and the late Avis Baker. He was the husband of the late Shirley May Baker who died on May 27, 2012.
Mr. Baker served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Rutgers University in NJ. Before his retirement, he was a Senior Vice President at the Brokerage House of Walter Kaye Associates, New York, NY.
He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Rutgers Fan.
Survivors include his two sons: Stephen Baker and his wife Terre of Palm Harbor, FL and Gary Baker and his wife Judy of Newark, DE; his 3 grandsons: Maxwell, Benjamin and Grant Baker; and 2 sisters: Shirley Henderson of Matawan, NJ and Mimi Welstead of Shrewsbury, NJ.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
