Robbie Joyce Crothers

Robbie Joyce Crothers, 74 of North East, MD, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at home. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in Elkton, MD, on September 11, 1934, the daughter of the late George and the late Olive Upole Feehly. Mrs. Crothers was the beloved wife of John L. Crothers, Sr of North East, MD. She retired from Acme Markets after 30 years of working in the meat department. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Elkton, MD. She enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her children, John L. Crothers, Jr. and Robin J. Crothers, both of North East, MD; one brother: Wayne Feehly and his wife Betty of Perryville, MD; her grandchildren: Hillary Crothers Moore, Erin Crothers, Rachel Crothers all of North East, MD; and her great grandchildren: Kathryn Moore and Draven Henley. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Asher and Allison Feehly. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Deacon Mike Truman will officiate. Interment will follow in Friends Cemetery, Calvert, MD.
