Richard William Wade, Sr.
Born in Clarksburg, WV, on March 2, 1939, he was the son of the late Arlie R. and the late Nellie (Hennen) Wade.
He served in the Army and retired after working many years as a diesel mechanic.
Richard enjoyed decoy carving, hunting, crabbing and watching football. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife: Elizabeth Wade; 6 children: Kimberly Gobble (Jeff) of Perryville, MD, Richard William (Billy) Wade, II (Karlena) of Clarksville, AR, Sean Wade (Hope) of Elkton, MD, Bradley Wade (Tammy) of North East, MD, Rebecca Wade and Amanda Wade both of Elkton, MD; a brother: James Wade (Charlotte) of Salisbury, MD; a sister: Doris Posey of Clarksburg, WV; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 8 siblings: Betty Caynor, Gladys Pinder, Ruth Malone, Pauline Wood, Arlie R. Wade, Jr., Jack Wade, Donnie Wade, and Bobby Wade
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.
