Richard was a very sociable, outgoing person, who had a zest for life, always quick to lead, to laugh or to extend a helping hand. His family and friends were paramount in his life. For our family, he was a great source of wisdom and strength, laughter and warmth. We will always remember his witty, comical, charming, "Cary Grantesque" type style. He represented the best of the "Greatest Generation", in every way. He will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving family as well as his many friends. Better for having known him, never to be forgotten, and always a part of us. May you rest in peace, Dad Pop-Pop, we love you always. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM.
