Richard "Rick" Parkinson, Jr.

Richard "Rick" Wayne Parkinson, Jr., 52 of Aberdeen, MD, died Saturday, January 10, 2026 inthe Upper Chesapeake Medical Center-UM.

Born in Aberdeen, MD, on January 9, 1974, he was the son of the late Richard Wayne Pakinson, Sr. and the late Carol E. (Argue) Parkinson.

He was an Armed Security Officer, employed by Arrington Security Investments Inc. Rick, alsoenjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his beloved dogs, Ginger and Sage and hisCats, Jorge, Spooky and Paisiley.

Rick was survived by his Fiancé Terri Lopiano of Aberdeen, MD. Her Children MichaelSettlemyre, Tracy Cirino and her Husband Anthony and Grandchildren, Madi, Annah, Ravin,Lillian, Crystal and Kenzie. His Aunt Pam Sheridan and husband Phil. Cousin Michael.Stepmother Marlene Parkinson. Brother Arthur Shaffer and wife Theresa. His sister AnitaPowers and husband Gary. His Uncle Randy Parkinson and his wife Karri.And His Best Friend Tony Gring and His wife Teisha and their children Bethany and Matthew.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Richard Wayne Parkinson Sr. and Carole E. Parkinson. Brother Lt. Col Martin Shaffer And Robert L. Settlemyre, Jr. son of Terri.

Interment will be held in Harford Memorial Gardens at a later time.
