Richard Lee Poole
Born in Akron, OH, on April 22, 1948, he was the son of the late Lorin Kenneth and Eleanor Ovitta (Baker) Poole.
He retired from the University of Delaware, where he last worked in the Printing Department.
Mr. Poole was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 131 for many years. He was an avid motorcycle rider and hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife: Donna M. Poole; three children: Daniel, Barbara and Jonathan; one brother: Kenneth Poole; and 8 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Andrew.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 am until service time.
Interment will follow in Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Bethel, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Delmarva Boy Scout Council for Camp Rodney, in care of the funeral home.
