Richard Allen Elias

Richard Allen Elias Dammann, 48 of North East, MD, died Thursday, June 9, 2005. Born in Bradford, PA, on June 18, 1956, he was a son of the late Richard W. Dammann. Richard worked as a Machine Operator, employed by Ketchikan Pulp Company in Alaska. He loved children and was like the "pied piper"; they followed him everywhere. In Alaska, he was a great fisherman of salmon. He also loved woodworking, making clocks, gardening, and cooking. He was the "Jack of all trades". In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, the late Richard W. Dammann, Jr. Survivors include his mother, Frances Gene Hall Dammann; his siblings, Mary Ann Weiherer and David Elias, both of Reading, PA, James Dammann of Bradenton, FL, and Susan Kerr of Erie, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. Vistitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Father Francis Kenney will officiate. Interment will follow services at St. Mary Anne
