Richard Clark Charshee, age 82 of Havre de Grace, Maryland, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2004, at Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, on September 11, 1922, he was a son of the late George Charshee and Sadie Clark Charshee. He was a lifelong resident of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Mr. Charshee was retired from Clark Can Company, Havre de Grace, Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army from December 1942 until October 1945, in Italy, Southern France, and Germany. He was a member of the Joseph L. Davis American Legion Post # 47, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Mr. Charhee is survived by a sister, Elsie C. Maslin, Havre de Grace, Maryland, and his nephew, Howard Blansfield, Madison Heights, Michigan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Charshee was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Charshee and Marguerite Bullock. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2004, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Elsie C. Maslin, 608 Chesapeake Drive, Havre de Grace, Maryland, where family and friends are invited to visit 11:00 AM prior to the service. The Rev. Roberta Scoville will officiate. Interment will follow services in Angel Hill Cemetery, Havre de Grace, Maryland. Arrangements by, Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland 21901.
