Rev. Robert J. Palmer, Sr.
Born in Camden, NJ, on May 31, 1931, he was the son of the late Dr. George Palmer and the late Rachel Anna (Stow) Palmer. Rev. Palmer was the husband of the late Charlotte Ann Palmer who passed on June 9, 2009.
Rev. Palmer retired from Sandy Cove Ministries where he served as President. He also was President of Boys and Girls Christian Home Ministries.
He is survived by his children: Robert Palmer, Jr. of Charlestown, MD, Charles T. Palmer of Fayetteville, GA, Michael W. Palmer and Rebecca L. Palmer both of Greenville, TX; 2 brothers: Paul Palmer of Elkton, MD and Rev. Jack Palmer of Spring Mills, PA; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD and Sunday from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM at Sandy Cove Ministries, 60 Sandy Cove Road, North East, MD.
Funeral services, conducted by his brother, Rev. Jack Palmer will be held Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Sandy Cove Ministries.
