Rebecca Ann Gill

Rebecca Ann Gill, 58 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at home. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born on June 17, 1957, the daughter of the late Oliver Lee and the late Nellie May (Adkins) Gill. She began attending the day program at Chesapeake Care Resources (CCR) in April 1991 and in October 1992, CCR became her home. She enjoyed being read to, volunteer outings to a local soup kitchen, and being outside as part of her active social life which included participating in activities at the center. Most of all she enjoyed music with regular visits from 2 local musicians, Clem and Kenny, and over the last months Elaina, the music therapist from Season’s Hospice. Rebecca will be missed by her CCR family and many friends. Chesapeake Care would like to thank the staff at Season’s Hospice for the wonderful care Becky received during the last 5 months of her life which helped her live out hers days in the comfort of her home with familiar surroundings.

A remembrance gathering will be held Friday November 13, 2015 at 10:00AM at Chesapeake Care Resources – 80 Marysville Rd. North East MD 21901.
