Raymond Benjamin Ellingsworth, Jr.

Raymond Benjamin Ellingsworth, Jr., 62 of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 26, 1960, he was the son of the late Raymond B. Ellingsworth, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth (Manlove) Ellingsworth.

He worked as a pipefitter for 22 years for Composite USA.  He had also worked for Trojan Yacht, Elkton, MD and Wiley’s Manufacturing, Port Deposit, MD.

Ray loved collecting model trains and rockets, fabricating and building projects and watching Star Trek.  He enjoyed traveling especially their trips to Hawaii and to beaches. But most importantly, he loved his family and the time spent with all of them was the joy of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years: Susan (Leary) Ellingsworth; two sons: Raymond Ellingsworth and Jason Ellingsworth both of North East, MD; and his seven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son: Jeremy Ellingsworth.
