Ralph M. Miller, 87 of North East, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his home.

Born in Calvert, MD, on October 8, 1938, he was the son of the late William M. and the late Pearl (Rakes) Miller.

He was a heavy equipment operator for Maryland Materials and a farmer, before his retirement. Ralph attended the First Baptist Church of North East, Mr. Miller enjoyed nature and gazing out over the river.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Loretta K. (Grove) Miller, three daughters, Brenda Larsen (Edward) of Colora, MD, Jennifer Stemple of Colora, MD, and Abigail Miller of Calvert, MD, one son, Ralph R. Miller (Lisa) of Port Deposit MD, Two sisters, Mildred McMillan of Newark DE, and Eleanor Yates Of Newark, DE. a brother Carl Miller of Spring Hill, FL. and a Half brother, Robert Miller of Calvert, MD. Also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his stillborn daughter, Jane Louise Miller and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A. 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment following the service will be at Rose Bank Cemetery, Calvert, MD.
