Ralph L. Anderson

Ralph L. Anderson, 83 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Blake, MD, on July 15, 1924, he was the son of the late John and the late Rachael Spratt Anderson. He was the husband of the late Doris Strimel Anderson who died on May 8, 1997. He retired from NVF, Newark, DE where he worked as a group leader. Mr. Anderson was a member of St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, North East, MD and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Survivors include: his son: David Anderson of North East, MD; four sisters: Lydia Quesenberry of Rising Sun, MD; June Farrow of Minquadale, DE; Shirley Hamm of Creston, NC; Alice Hall of Blue Ball, MD and one brother: John L. Anderson of Newport, DE. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Gladys Smith and a brother: Willard Anderson. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD. Father Samuel Hartman will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary Anne's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to: St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church.
