Phyllis Gale (Carper) Norris

Phyllis Gale Norris, 88 of Rising Sun, MD formerly of Dundalk, MD, passed away at home Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Born in Kester, WV, on January 15, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Monroe and Ocie Gertrude (Smith) Carper. She was the wife of the late James Edward Norris who passed in 2019.

Before she retired, Phyllis was a Beautician for many years.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Biewer of Baltimore County, MD, Louann Sherer of Camden City, NJ; Robin Roberts of Rising Sun, MD and Mark Norris of Lynchburg, VA; sister: Peggy Caro of HI; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Graveside service by Rev. Charles Sherer will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Smith Cemetery, Spencer, WV.
