Phyllis Inez Jarvis

Phyllis Inez Jarvis, 66 of Joppa, MD, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on June 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Robert Calvin Wanzer and the late Eula Mae Jones. Mrs. Jarvis was the beloved wife of David W. Jarvis, Sr. of Joppa, MD. She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, reading and Delaware Park. In addition to her loving husband, survivors include her children: Terri Lee Thompson of New Castle, DE, David W. Jarvis, Jr. of Joppa, MD, Phillip C. Jarvis of Houston, TX, Bruce A. Jarvis of Wilmington, DE, Robert C. Jarvis of New Castle, DE, Kim A. Stokes of Joppa, MD, and Jill R. Jarvis of Joppa, MD; 26 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at 4:00 PM at McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Road, Abingdon, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private In Mount Carmel Cemetery, North East, MD.
