Peggy Sue Frederick

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peggy Sue Frederick, 72, of Elkton, MD, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Born on March 16, 1953, Peggy was one of nine children of the late John Arthur Frederick and Edith Elizabeth (Cline) Frederick.

A proud member of the United States Air Force, Peggy enlisted on May 18, 1979, serving with honor until her discharge on February 6, 1981, where she achieved the rank of Airman First Class (A1C). Her commitment to service continued in her professional life as a guard with Clean Air, Elkton, MD, instilling a sense of safety and security in her community.

Peggy was a devoted member of the Church of God, where she found strength and purpose through her faith. Her unwavering belief and support for her loved ones were a testimony to her kind and nurturing spirit.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her sister Verla Frederick, brother Johnny Frederick both of Elkton, MD, brother Francis Frederick and sister Verna Thomas, both of North East, MD; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Norman Frederick, and two sisters, Edith Ann Rasnake and Hilda Marie Ewing.

A public viewing will be held at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Monday, September 8, 2025, starting at 10:00 am, allowing friends, family, and all who knew Peggy to pay their respects. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00 am, honoring her life and the love she shared with those around her.

Following funeral services, Peggy will be laid to rest at North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
