Paul Richard Heroux

Paul Richard Heroux, 63 of Charlestown, MD, Passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Christiana Care Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on July 31, 1962, he was the son of the late Paul Ronald Heroux and Alexandrina (Renwick) Heroux of Fredrick, MD.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army as an SSG, where he received the Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Field Medical Badge, Good Conduct Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

He was a Food Safety Auditor employed by NSF. Paul had a passion for playing darts. He played on the Messy Hall Bartender in Harlem, New York. They played in the B Division, and as a result of Paul being on the team, they excelled. The team made the playoffs every season. At the time of his passing, they were in first place for the current season due to his contributions.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer M. (Roberts) Heroux; one daughter, Marylee Sheldon (Eric) of Rockingham, VT; and five sons: John Heroux (Jill) of Somerset, MA; Joseph Heroux (Kelsey) of Oxford,MA; Brendon Heroux (Courtney) of North East, MD; Kamryn Heroux (Samantha) of Port Deposit, MD; and Devin Heroux of Charlestown, MD. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Heroux of Waldorf, MD, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. A memorial service conducted by Rev. Shawn Johnson, will be held at 4:00 p.m.
