Patricia Leone Krauss

Patricia Leone Williams Krauss, 71 of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Cecil County, she was born in North East on March 17, 1940 the daughter of the late John Marshall and the late Tracie Leone Ayers Williams. Mrs. Krauss was a member of Grace Bible Chapel, Rising Sun, MD. She enjoyed gardening, mowing and was an avid fisherman. She was a skilled craftsman in set building for Christian Theatrical Productions. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kenneth M. Krauss of Rising Sun, MD; her beloved daughter: K. Renee Scott of Port Deposit, MD; 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Deanna, Aaron Krauss, Chad, Andrew and Christian Scott; a brother: Earl Williams of Stewart, VA; and 4 sisters: Dorothy Cather of Rising Sun, MD, Betty Adams of Rising Sun, MD, Nancy Wiggins of Rising Sun, MD and Ella Mae Heath of Elkton, MD. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin M. Krauss who died March 24, 2006; 5 brothers: Edward, Taylor, Ralph, Marshall and Frank Williams; and 3 sisters: Jean Spencer, Virginia Herd and Barbara Barrow. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Grace Bible Chapel, 1949 Joseph Biggs Highway, Rising Sun, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM. Pastors Stephen Schappert, Wayne Heffelfinger and William Scott will officiate. Interment will follow services in Bible Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Grace Bible Chapel Building Fund or Seasons Hospice, both in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
