Patricia Elizabeth (Rixham) Kammerer
Born in Baltimore, MD, on June 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harry William and the late Anna (Bartling) Rixham.
She was married in 1953 to the late Joseph F. Kammerer, who greeted her in heaven, along with their son Daniel T. Kammerer.
As an active and devoted member, of Immaculate Conception, St. Judes Mission, in North East, MD, she was a Eucharistic minister.
Pat retired from the banking industry, Tydings of Love Jewelry, and Sarah Coventry Jewelry. She served tirelessly at the Cecil County Pregnancy Center and served on the Board of Directors. Pat was also an active volunteer at North East Elementary, served as an usher at Cecil College’s Milburn Stone Theater, was a member of Garden Gate Garden Club, Beginning Experience for 19 years, and she enjoyed walking daily with her friends. However, her first and favorite devotion was as a loving wife and mother raising her family of 9 children. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and watching it multiply to 25 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and over 12 nieces and nephews.

Kammerer, Sr.(Lillian) of Severna Park, MD, Paul E. Kammerer of North East, MD, Michael J. Kammerer of North East, MD, William G. Kammerer(Jill) of Cary, NC, Ann M. Milliner(Al) of North East, MD; 2 sisters: Gerri Gagne of Acton, MA, Barbara Price of Baltimore, MD;
25 grandchildren: David Zappasodi(Rebecca), Audrey Kammerer, Anthony Zappasodi(Katie), Sarah (Kammerer) Tyler(Shawn), Joel Kammerer, Matthew Zappasodi(Emily), Jacklyn Kammerer, Jennifer (Kammerer) Pitzen(Ben), Joseph Kammerer, Jr., Julie Kammerer, Mark Kammerer Ehm (Marilyn), Alfred Milliner, Sean Kammerer Pratt, Lindsay (Kammerer) Trinks(Michael), Victoria Kammerer, Joshua Brown(Jennifer), Wyatt Kammerer, Madison Kammerer, Andrew Milliner(Marissa), Megan Kammerer, Chandler Kammerer, Angela Kammerer, Lindy Kammerer, William Kammerer, Jonathan Kammerer; 6 great grandchildren, Micah, Grant, Cameron, Luca, Ava, and Leo Zappasodi; with 3 more on the way.
In addition, to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Rixham.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. There will be a visitation on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD.
Interment will follow services, in St Mary Anne's Cemetery, North East, MD.
Patricia always wore a smile that was contagious. Her love and devotion to her husband for 40 years, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, friends and the community was obvious as she served her Lord and Savoir, Jesus. She believed with all of her heart to do all things to His Glory. The family is comforted by the thought of her resting in Peace with Him!
